Desire and Fate

A corrective from my friend David Avrom Bell on the Woke view of art. His formulation is better than mine:

“À propos of you recent posts, I might say that what distinguishes woke art from other art is not the conviction that art can change the world but the conviction that art has no other purpose at all.”
